I’m Keisha "K. T." Smith, and sharing my passion and commitment to serving our community is exciting. My countless hours spent practicing and observing the art of conflict resolution as a certified mediator will prove to be an invaluable skill set for the office I am seeking to hold. It will allow me to help individuals and families in our community resolve their disputes fairly and equitably.

Meet: Keisha "KT." Smith

Keisha "K. T." Smith is a highly accomplished professional living in Fort Bend County, Texas, for over 22 years. She has been married for 27 years and is a proud mother of three sons. Smith serves as a Chief Deputy in Fort Bend County, a Grant reviewer for the DOE, and is a Certified Mediator with a wealth of dispute-resolution experience.

 

Smith's higher education includes the Texas A&M School of Law, which has equipped her with a deep understanding of the legal system. Her educational accomplishments include a Texas Southern University Master's in Public Administration studies, which has helped her develop more decisive leadership and management skills in government policies. Smith received her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston-Downtown. Smith is also a New Orleans, Louisiana, Xavier University Preparatory High School graduate. 

Smith has been a highly motivated professional throughout her career, consistently achieving success. Her verifiable record of accomplishments spanning decades is a testament to her hard work and dedication. Smith is a respected Fort Bend County resident committed to serving her community with professionalism and integrity. Smith is a dedicated public servant who is committed to making a positive impact on her community.
